Issues Resolved in This Service Pack

Issue ID Description
LDK-10819

When used to protect a .NET application under certain circumstances, Sentinel LDK Envelope would generate a 2008 error with the message "A required external function could not be found" and terminate.

LDK-13333

The Refresh List option for .NET applications in Sentinel LDK Envelope would also overwrite protection settings and protection type that you selected for the application.

Resolution: This option now refreshes only the list of displayed methods as intended.

LDK-13421

Under certain circumstances, when re-protecting a .NET application and selecting the option "Use default settings for method selection", Envelope freezes for an extended period of time and then redisplays the "New Method Protection" dialog box. This process repeats a number of times. Pressing "Cancel" in the dialog box does not exit this loop. This scenario may also result in occurrence of error 2005 in Envelope.

Resolution: The "New Method Protection" dialog box has been removed. (A new option is available on the the Protection Settings tabbed page: Do not protect new methods.) As a result, the reload of the DLL succeeds.

LDK-14386

The Hardlock-to-Driverless Upgrade Tool Generator provided in Sentinel LDK v.7.4 would fail and generate the error 0xc0000005.

LDK-14598

The Admin Control Center template files provided on the Sentinel LDK installation DVD were not the most current.

LDK-14599

After protection with Envelope, a Windows application that uses the TLS protocol would fail when executed.
